Online PALS, ACLS BLS Medical Classes and CPR AED Certification Training in Arkansas

Our company knows how challenging it can be to juggle your day to day life on top of trying to fit traditional classes into your schedule. With this in mind, we worked to create exclusively online classes that enable healthcare providers to get a BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. The BLS certification is a requirement for EMTs, and many city personnel. We also offer ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) classes, and our comprehensive classes give healthcare providers the chance to look at the ACLS study guide. We also offer ACLS pretest materials so they can be confident that they know the course material before they take the certification test. Additionally, we also offer a PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) class available for nurses who attend to children. Along with these courses, we provide training for CPR/First Aid and AED certification classes for all working professionals nationwide.

Each one of our classes can be completed online at a pace that is comfortable for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The American Heart Association (AHA) certifies all of our classes and class material using their most recent guidelines. The AHA updates these guidelines every five years, and they won’t update them again until 2020.

Get Certified Online in Just Three Easy Steps!

The first step is to select the class or classes you want to take to get your certification. If you want to take more than one, we have package rates available. We have everything you need to take your CPR/First Aid courses, and this certification can give you a greater peace of mind as you go about your day-to-day life. Additionally, we offer a free ACLS study guide that you can use at your convenience to study for your certification. We also have an ACLS pretest that you can take to ensure you’re ready for your certification test. Once you’ve selected the appropriate class or package, you’ll pay the class fee. This will grant you instant access to all of the certification class study materials and the online exam. The exam does not have a time limit, and they’re all multiple choice, so you can study until you’re comfortable with the materials.

The second step is to take your certification or recertification exam. Again, there is no time limit, and the exam is multiple choice, so take your time. If you don’t manage to pass the first time, you have unlimited retakes. We do suggest you review the course materials before you attempt to retake the exam.

The third and final step of our online certification process is to pass the exam and print out your digital certification or re-certification card. A hard copy of your certification will be in the mail within 5 to 7 days.

Please note that our classes and tests are completely online, and there is no need for you to drive to an in-person testing center. Any Arkansas resident can fit our classes into their schedule at a time that is convenient for them. You never know when this training could save someone’s life, and Arkansas requires students to have CPR training to graduate. This requirement increases the amount of people who have their certifications around the state. To find out more, click here.

Arkansas Health Analysis

Several health issues plague Arkansas and most of these issues are chronic health conditions. The state ranks high in deaths from cancer, obesity, heart disease, chronic lung diseases, high blood pressure, stroke, and diabetes. Arkansas is also a state with a very high poverty level and a high level of illiteracy. This means more people don’t go to the doctor, and when they do go, they’re at risk for not understanding and following the discharge paperwork and ending up back in the hospital. This increases the need for people to have their BLS certification, which is very similar to CPR training but BLS is a little more advanced for healthcare providers.

Arkansas State Information

The state of Arkansas is the 29th largest state in the nation, and it is the 33rd most populous as of 2016. Arkansas gained statehood as the 25th state on June 15, 1836, but it withdrew from the United States during the Civil War and joined the Confederate States of America. It returned to the Union in the middle of 1868. Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, and the poet C.D. Wright all lived in Arkansas at one point during their lives, and the state has earned “a special place in the American consciousness.” Today, the state features many historical sites, museums, performing arts groups, and tourist attractions.

Little Rock

The largest city in the state of Arkansas also serves as the state capital. Little Rock has a population of 198,541 people and growing. This city serves as an important cultural, government, economic, and transportation center for the entire state. You’ll find several higher education institutions and many large company headquarters here. There are also dozens of cultural events and groups, theaters, museums, and parks to explore.

Many of the residents of Little Rock suffer from chronic respiratory conditions like COPD, asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia. The air quality is partly to blame as Little Rock has an air quality index of around 40 out of 100, and this low quality can irritate chronic conditions. Pollution and ozone are the two biggest concerning factors for people here. An Arkansas senator performed CPR on a woman who was having trouble breathing and collapsed. To find out more, click here.

Fort Smith

Fort Smith is the second-largest city in the state with a population of 88,133 people as of 2016. This thriving city has had ties to the manufacturing industry for decades, and today it is classified as a regional manufacturing center with several large companies headquartered here. You’ll find several historical sites here, and a few movies have been shot in and around this city.

The cancer rate in Fort Smith is very high, and a lot of it comes from asbestos inhalation from working in asbestos-contaminated areas for decades. Statewide, there is an average of 6,000 cancer-related deaths per year in Arkansas, and lung cancer is the leading type of cancer diagnosis. People suffering from this disease typically feel short of breath, and this can lead to other problems. A stranger saved a child’s life after they stopped breathing, and you can find out more by clicking here.

Fayetteville

The third-largest city is Fayetteville with a population of 83,826 people. The University of Arkansas is here, and the town has a college-town feel. Sporting events are very popular in this city, and the football and track and field teams have gone to nationals several times. This city ranked as one of the best places to raise a family in the nation.

Heart disease and high blood pressure are the two most common health conditions in this city. Each year, over 120 people die from a heart-related incident, and the rising obesity rates help to contribute to this number. Accidental deaths are also on the rise both in this city and as a statewide trend. Recently, a man collapsed while running from the police and the police had to do CPR life saving techniques to save his life. You can read more by clicking here.

Springdale

The city of Springdale is the fourth-largest city in Arkansas, and it has a population of 78,557 people as of 2016. This city is an important industrial center to the state, and it is home to several large trucking companies. In recent years, there has been a population boom in the area, and this has brought new colleges and museums to the area.

Diabetes and obesity are the top two health concerns in and around the city of Springdale. People aren’t as active, and this can cause the obesity rate to rise in the city. Also, people who are obese are more prone to health problems like stroke or diabetes. They also have an increased risk of developing heart-related problems they may not know about until something happens. For example, a healthy man collapses while out riding his bike and strangers intervened to help. You can find out what happened here.

Jonesboro

Jonesboro claims the spot for the fifth-largest city in the state of Arkansas with a 2016 population of 74,887 people. This city is another college town who experiences a significant population shift during the school year. The economy survives thanks to contributions from the healthcare, education, manufacturing, and trade industries. There is a rich history associated with this city, and it is home to several historical places and landmarks, museums, and cultural attractions.

Stroke and chronic respiratory conditions are the two main health concerns for people who find themselves living and working here. Although a large part of the population is college age, there is still a significantly older population that has chronic health issues. There is also an issue with the poverty level, and this can make people put off seeking healthcare because they don’t have the money to pay the bill from the hospital.
