New Hampshire ACLS, PALS, BLS & CPR

Our company offers both certification and re-certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED training. If you’d like to get a higher certification, we offer PALS, ACLS, and BLS online training programs for your convenience. This program is unique as it is done completely through an online platform. You won’t have to try and fit visiting a testing center into your schedule, and you can access the courses on any internet-ready device. The courses and the study materials were taken straight from the American Heart Association by physicians who are familiar with them. We update our materials every five years, with the next update set for the year 2020.

Online PALS, BLS, and ACLS Courses for Certification and Recertification

If you’re attending school to be a medical professional, chances are you’ll need Basic Life Support (BLS) training, and you may need the more advanced ACLS training as well. This training will help to ensure that you know how to respond in the event of an emergency. Flight nurses, doctors, and many medical personnel are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). In addition, people who work around pediatrics will most likely need PALS certification. You can get all of these online, at your convenience and your own pace.

Once you’ve decided on a package or course that interests you, you can enroll and pay the fee. As soon as you pay, you’ll have access to all of the study materials and the final exam. You’ll be able to review the study materials and take the exam on any internet-ready device, at any time. When you take the exam, the course materials will be locked until you complete the exam. You get three attempts to pass the exam, and it is multiple choice questions. When you pass, you’ll get a temporary certification you print out, and the hard copy will be mailed out within five business days.

First Aid and CPR AED Certification

Many schools and employers are now making it mandatory that all of their employees be trained and certified in CPR and AED/First Aid. Currently, New Hampshire doesn’t have a mandatory CPR training law, but many individual entities have begun to require this. We understand that many working professionals may not have the time for an in-person training or course, and that’s where our online platform comes in. You won’t have to take time off of work, and you can study around your schedule, wherever you have access to an internet-ready device and a steady internet connection.

New Hampshire State Information

New Hampshire was admitted into statehood in 1788 as the 9th state. This state has a population of over 1 million people, and it is the 42nd most populous state in the United States.  New Hampshire has the nickname of the Granite State. It has a total area of over 9,000 miles, and this makes it the 46th largest state.

New Hampshire Health Information

Despite having beautiful scenery, New Hampshire has many problems with arthritis, obesity, hypertension, and drug-related deaths. In 2015 alone, there were over 400 deaths related to drug overdoses reported, and this was a jump of almost 100 deaths from 2014 to 2015. This number is continuing to grow as illegal drugs become more accessible. If someone overdoses, they have to get to a hospital quickly where the staff, who have ACLS certification and BLS training, can help them. The percentage of people with hypertension as of 2015 is almost 30% of the state’s population.

Manchester

The largest city in New Hampshire is Manchester with a population of almost 110,000 people. The city of Manchester was founded in the year 1722 , and it has continued to grow ever since. This city is an excellent spot to enjoy many recreational activities year round, and there are a variety of parks to visit. There is also a large art scene with museums, workshops, and performances to take in.

By September in 2015, the fire, EMT, and police teams in this city had responded to over 540 overdose calls. Out of these 540 calls, 400 required more advanced life-saving procedures. The staff at the hospitals are required to have ACLS certification training and they were able to reverse the effects of the overdose with Narcan. Manchester also sees a large number of its residents suffering from hypertension. If this goes untreated, it can lead to an increased risk of a heart-related issue or stroke.

Nashua

Nashua is the second largest city in New Hampshire with just over 86,000 residents. Originally, this city focused on the textile industry, and it has evolved into a metropolitan area. This city is just over 39 miles in area, with 1 square mile of water. The fire department of Nashua has over 176 full-time members with six stations throughout the city.

This city suffers from worse than normal air quality, with its rating at an 89.9% in 2015. This is higher than the national average of 74.7%. Conditions like these can cause respiratory issues to flare up, and it would be a good idea to take either a BLS or CPR certification class so you know what to do in the event that a flare occurs. If people breathe in poor air quality over the years, it could have lasting impacts on their bodies.

Concord

Concord claims the spot for third-largest city in New Hampshire with around 42,000 people. It is the capital of New Hampshire, and it has been around since 1725. The alarm clock was first invented here in 1787. Franklin Pierce, the 14th president, called Concord home, and his house is available for public tours. It stands as an example of mid-19th-century architecture. You can find the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center here, and it is a tribute to astronauts Alan Shepard and Christa McAuliffe.

The obesity rate in this city is on the rise, with over 60% of its inhabitants identifying as being obese. This can lead to other issues like arthritis from all of the added stress on the joints, and cardiac issues. People who have had a class in CPR, First Aid, or BLS would be in a better position to help someone that was having health issues.

Dover

The fourth largest city in New Hampshire is Dover with a population of over 30,000. It is one of the oldest communities within the state of New Hampshire as well. This city offers the perfect place to immerse yourself in the history of the state, or you can relax on the waterfront. Dover was once a thriving milling city, and it has since turned into a vibrant place to raise a family.

One of Dover’s main health concerns is chronic conditions that go untreated. The patients don’t follow up, and their conditions worsen. If this happens, it may take someone with knowledge of ACLS/PALS/BLS and CPR training to spot them and provide assistance.

Rochester

The final city on our list is Rochester, New Hampshire with a population of 29,500 residents. Rochester was a large lumber supplier, and this slowly switched to milling as time went on. In 1901, the Wallace Shoe company became the largest employer in the city. Today, this is a thriving city that welcomes new families.

Pneumonia and congestive heart failure are the two predominant issues in this city. In 2013, there were over 100 cases of congestive heart failure diagnosed. Congestive heart failure can lead to an increased risk of a stroke or other heart-related problems. If you have taken one of our online ACLS certification classes or a BLS class, you may be able to spot the symptoms quicker and get the person the help they need.

CPR News: Manchester’s mayor performed CPR on a friend and the former state director until help arrived to assist him. He went to check on the former state director and found him turning blue. The former state director is projected to make a full recovery.
